@Roya_Khatiblou @DVpit_ @PitDark_ My best advice for a literary novel would be to spend your time on networking to get word of mouth referrals from writers you know. So in addition to MFA colleagues past, joining big communities of writers like through Tin House, London Writers Hour, etc. can be really helpful.

I have a #WritingCommmunity #amquerying question: is it worth it for literary authors to do pitching contests? It seemed like @DVpit_ was mostly genre authors—I kept feeling I was in the wrong place I don’t want to direct my limited time/resources to @PitDark_ if it’s no use!
