I’ve spent the last 6 years building smart rings. One of the hardest parts was getting rid of every flat surface. We think rings should be circular. No weird edges. No 'close enough.' But there was room for one trick. We baked in an optical illusion: the ring is subtly thinner where it sits between your fingers, making it more comfortable to wear while still looking like a perfect circle. Your eye sees a circle & your hand feels the difference.
