We started this morning dressed in our custom required jerseys for our first 100km (Locarno -> Gattinara -> Torino) #wceu 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️ @kroko_dok @velthy @karinchristen @nuritnt @ocean90 Corina, our former team member, and her kiddo joined us for the first few km. 💪

Our bike packing tour to @WCEurope has officially kicked off! We all gathered from different cities to meet up in Locarno. Four of us are cycling all the way from Locarno to Turin, while one of us takes the train (and brings our laptops, of course! 💻). #WCEU

Let me clarify this one a bit more as there were some questions. I make it a priority to have security upgrades done as fast as possible. I'm deploying every single work day. There a few sites that are low-impact and automatically upgraded, but contigencies are still in place for rollbacks. All the mission critical sites (high traffic and/or WooCommerce) are in version control. Using a Development > Testing > Acceptance > Production flow with automatic deployments and CI in place. There's also impact monitoring in place with @Scanfullyapp. Even though our tool is not yet in production, it is already being used to check the (performance) impact of a deployment. So, a lot of systems are in place to make sure we can do this safely. All this to say, I can honestly say I'm updating plugins daily.

Still is still my favorite filter to add to any Jetpack powered WordPress site: add_filter( 'jetpack_just_in_time_msgs', '__return_false' ); This gets rid of all those annoying Jetpack notices. This won't fix other annoyances with Jetpack though. Just those nagging notices.
