We're calling on our community to join us in advocating for the COMPOST Act. The COMPOST Act aims to promote the development and implementation of composting programs across the country.

Today is a reminder of the "why" that fuels our work at OSC's Packaging Collaborative. We are honored to be joined by 40+ brands on our mission to protect our oceans and communities from single-use, plastic waste.

The ocean produces at least 50% of the planet’s oxygen and acts as a “carbon sink” that absorbs about 31% of the CO2 released into the atmosphere yet an estimated 8 million tons of plastic enters our oceans every year & climate change continues to decimate coral kingdoms.

Today is World Ocean Day - a day dedicated to the appreciation and preservation of the vast marine ecosystem that is integral to the health of our planet and its people.

In honor of International Week of Compost, we're shouting out our friends and partners at EarthFirst Films (by PSI) - producers of plant-based bioplastic films that are made from annually renewable materials and are compostable to ASTM D6400.

This week, we are celebrating International Week of Compost by discussing the benefits of composting and inviting you to join in advocating for the Compost Act (link in bio!)

We're honored to be joined by brands like Nature's Path Organic on our race to zero waste. Nature's Path Organic champions zero waste practices by participating in the loop reusables program and using renewable and recyclable materials for their product packaging.

Tomorrow is Earth Day - a holiday devoted to the celebration of our planet. We hope that you will take a moment to reflect on the beauty and bounty our planet provides and honor her through your actions.

These food scraps feed animals, help build topsoil, and add to the company's living seed bank. Since the programs inception in October 2021, Ancient Nutrition has collected 742,652 pounds of food, working with 8 partners in 18 locations across 2 states!

Did you know that food waste accounts for 24% of all landfill material? That's why Ancient Nutrition works to collect the food scraps from partners and deposit them on their Certified Organic, Regenerative farms, literally turning trash into treasure.
