Found a quick reliable way to make stamp effects in Gimp. 1) Use a brush with 3-7% opacity to some irregularities 2) Use Noise > Spread 3) Curves as needed 4) Oilify Protip: It won't work on an alpha bg. Also, oilify works better with black-on-white. @GIMP_Official

More brush stroke digitization in #GIMP. Ready to be used in game. Just needs curves + oilify. @GIMP_Official, that oilify filter is a life-saver!

I tried digitizing and cleaning up brush strokes for my app today. In #GIMP, use curves to color correct, then oilify. (Then 'color to alpha' to clean out the white, and then invert the colors to bring it in to #unity) Oilify does wonders for making those edges crisp!
