Oh boy! Just went with a bunch of #ManofTommorrow cast & crew to see #TheFurious. I didn't think Kenji Tanagaki could outdo himself after the spectacular Walled In, but man The Furious really showed him as one of the best action filmmakers working. We all loved it!

@Nan_dre_ I ended up really enjoying it more on the second showing but with all the talent, it does feel like they left money on the table. I’m really hoping the sequel can flesh things out a bit more

I thought it was fine, but it got some really big problems Characters felt thin, dialog was really uninspired, and the "main villain" is pretty goofy The movie looks great and I liked the score. Some standout scenes and design choices for sure, but feels like missed potential

@PetreRaleigh Adria picking up the Sarah Connor esque role. The pieces are all right here and we never see Dan in the trailer. Fear I won’t believe it isn’t a Guest sequel until I see the movie

trailer played before my showing of BACKROOMS. The US Government creates a bunch of Friday-the-thirteenth-Jason-style supersoldiers and set them loose on the civilian populace. Adria Arjona and her guns are the only thing standing in their way. Looks like it's gonna be a hoot

Hopefully interesting enough for people to dive into the lore, but being blind to it really helps you feel what Clark & the gang are experiencing. Hope we get an Async movie eventually but the backrooms just has such a great wtf is going on vibe.

Not really a #backrooms spoiler since most people get the idea that there’s going to be a monster, but the only thing I’ll say on the matter is that it thematically makes more sense than the squiggle man from the webseries
