I'm increasingly mystified by these laments. DSA, now with 100,000 members nationally and 15,000 in NYC, is very class-focused. Zohran gets a nod, but these complaints have become so habitual that they can't adapt to the times.

@harrisonlcann imo this is great for Rabb. Street's poll shows his lead is cut to 3% after hearing what the candidates are about. The messaging is obviously going to have a pro-Street bias. Stanford has gotten a HUGE injection of cash recently which takes away from Street's lead, not Rabb.

AOC made this statement in 2024 calling for an arms embargo while at the same time supporting defensive aid to israel, so unfortunately until she clarifies more explicitly she’s against all sales i’m forced to conclude she doesn’t understand what the term “arms embargo” means.

AOC committing to an “arms embargo” without elaborating on how she defines it and what specifically she wants to do is frankly meaningless. i’ve seen people use the term “arms embargo” to mean anything from no funding to the US govt blocking some sales to a full complete embargo.
