An American organization invited me to give a keynote on overcoming addiction, homelessness, and bridging harm reduction with recovery. I told them I’d gladly help because the U.S. is miles behind on many challenges. However I’m not stepping foot in the USA, not right now, and even with a waiver you can't guarantee my safety. They wanted me in person, so I declined and thought that was the end of it. Guess what? They called back. The board approved it, so I’ll now be doing it virtually.
