he was only 8, I got 6 years with him when it should have been at least 10. i feel angry and robbed but also so fucking gifted that I got what I did because they were the best years of my life

my beloved dog and best friend in the whole world passed away a few days ago. just trying to figure out how to be me without him when he was my everything. I’m not after sympathy, that hurts even more; but it needs to come out so I can keep walking.
