China just posted a $1 trillion trade surplus.
Record high. Again.
Meanwhile, India's trade deficit keeps widening.
China's export dominance comes from manufacturing strength.
Not currency manipulation. Not cheap labour. Manufacturing.
They built supply chains over decades while we only focused on 'Jugaad Mentality'.
Here's what China did differently than India:
China: Makes products → Exports products → Builds surplus.
India: Imports products → Consumes products → Builds deficit.
China: Invests in manufacturing → Creates jobs → Dominates global supply chains.
India: Invests in... what exactly? Real estate? Stock market?
China: Strategic yuan management for export competitiveness.
India: The Rupee falls; we call it "market dynamics" and do nothing.
You can't build economic power through services alone.
You can't have a trade surplus without manufacturing strength.
You can't compete globally by assembling someone else's components.

We cancelled two trips to the US in 2025. One to Florida in the winter and another we hd planned to NYC in the summer. I hear a lot of other Canadians did too. 🤷🏻♂️🇨🇦

No person is illegal - you are using that term to dehumanize people.
Immigration violations are civil, not criminal.
The Constitution protects all people on U.S. soil — not just citizens.
When you use “illegal” to define a human being, you’re not defending law.
You’re defending cruelty.
