The proper legal frame for illegal immigration is straightforward: The legally permissible number of unauthorized aliens in the United States is zero. Article II, Section 3 of the Constitution states that the President “shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed.” Immigration law defines unlawful presence as removable. That is a statutory condition, not a matter of sentiment. Disagreement with the law does not change its status. Interfering with enforcement officers does not change it either. The branch with authority to change immigration law is Congress. If you want the law changed, direct that effort at lawmakers, not the officers carrying out existing statutes. At bottom, this is a rule-of-law question. Either the law governs, or it does not.

If oil is over, show the input math. How much oil does it take to build the mines, factories, shipping, and grids for that transition? Manufacturing is energy? You don’t scale out of hydrocarbons without using hydrocarbons first. Duh. China dominates solar panels and batteries, okay. How about the underlying energy? Nah. We know that. You know that. China is still the largest oil importer and heavily exposed to ME supply shocks. You guys bought 80-90% of Iran’s oil exports. Now? You are banning fuel exports through March, capping prices, praying for deescalation, and scrambling You guys know that, too. What are you guys going to do? Lean on Venezuela? Oh. Maybe Russia? China’s energy security fairytale breaks the moment the chokepoints get stressed. We’ll control the choke points.

A whole three weeks in, and you’re already assuming the US would just shrug off temporary pain from a closed strait? That’s cute. We’ve factored in the disruption, unlike Beijing, which is watching 35-40% of its crude imports get squeezed while it quietly stockpiles and begs Tehran for special passage for its tankers. No one’s replacing the dollar system in a decade, if ever. BRICS talk is loud, but actual dedollarization is still basically just marginal bilateral local currency deals with Russia don’t scale to global reserve status when the USD still dominates SWIFT messaging and trade settlement. China knows this. So do its “partners.” Beijing’s response has been the usual paper tiger schtick of diplomatic hand-wringing, calls for deescalation, and zero real action. Why? Because they’re in a trap of their own making. Their economy runs on imported energy through chokepoints they don’t control. We’ve demonstrated we can project power there; they can’t. Prolonged closure hits Asia hardest, China most of all, while the US is a net energy exporter with far more diversified supplies. We depend less on that route than you do. Cut access to Western markets and financial systems before BRICS matures, accelerate friendshoring to India and others as the next manufacturing hubs, and suddenly playing ‘oil pirate’ proxy games looks like a very expensive mistake. The CCP isn’t doing shit because it can’t. Go fuck yourself, commie. Iran and the strait will be controlled by the west and its allies.

@recorderson @SeattleIndepen1 “Mapped all of the plays and contingencies out” 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️ There were 6 aircraft carriers in theatre and full access to GCC bases in both Gulf Wars. The US can’t even maintain two carriers in theatre. And got chased out of all GCC bases. Retard.

We don’t have a crystal ball and I shouldn’t have to spell it out to you dunces. But, it doesn’t surprise me that I do. We model every attack before we launch it, and afterwards we run a continuous series OODA loops. It used to be done by humans, using computers, taking days, weeks, or months. Now it’s being done by AI at lightning speed. Wargaming, kill webs, supply chains, and logistics, etc. You fucking retards think this is GWOT and that we have the same objectives and goals. Same leadership. Same tech. A handcuffed military or the same concern about preserving our image to the rest of the world. Or, that we have the intention of ever occupying Iran. You guys really think we’ve haven’t contemplated having two of our eleven carriers offline? We haven’t modeled preventing or restricting the movement of materials, personnel, and equipment through Iran’s mountainous roads? Or, the closure of the Strait of Hormuz? Stupid. All of you. War is a series of tradeoffs under uncertainty. Losses are assumed. You guys are morons and act like we are just bumbling our way through the war and being outclassed by the Iranians because the regime hasn’t fallen in three weeks. Fucking clowns. The real question is who controls escalation dominance after conflict starts, and we dominate. No military has more war fighting experience in the modern age. It’s not a matter of if we can completely dominate and destroy Iran, only a question of the political will to do so, and how long that will take.

@recorderson @DoggyDog1208 @SeattleIndepen1 Dude you’re just throwing out random words. “AI mapped all of the plays” this isn’t a football game. “Game Theory” ok a two word sentence that means nothing. These factor into the conversation how exactly? Are you having a nervous breakdown?
