@roaringgoodtime I can see both sides of the argument open v. seeded post draw. I'm just looking at what I think would have been the best storyline for the final. Now I think it's like a big college football game where one team loses the week before and it loses some of its steam.

Sticking Mamba and Beau in the same elim is trashola. That's a matchup you save for the final.

@GregReinhart Why should the best horses have more advantage than they already do? I understand owners want a jogburger elim and the best post in the final. That isn't really great for the gambler.

I think WEG usually does the right thing but this is a gigantic fumble. You hope both win their elim and then you pitch the Best in Canada v. Best in the US matchup for $1M to every news outlet you can find. Now it's just sickos watching them race where five make the final.

Massive test on class for Beau and Mamba. They've never faced anything close to this quality. If either bet this crew handily, I'll be convinced the hype is 100% real. What a horse race!
