@mattpocockuk @_colemurray I unfortunately have to work with firebase, and the firebase emulator doesn't pick a port automatically. I'd probably have to run it in docker to be able to switch the ports, and it opens multiple.

you should use worktrees you just have to.. - npm install in the worktree - reinstall the pre-commit hooks - copy the env files - not use the same ports or realize this is not the right solution

@davis7 @shivamhwp I’d watch a video on this topic. I’ve heard the "react scales better" take before, but as someone who hasn't used signals based frameworks much, the "why" is still blurry. A deep dive from a signals expert would be useful context

That and React codebases actually scale really well. The component based reactivity is annoying, but actually saves you from so many footguns Signals are the objective "correct" solution, but they require a really good engineer to manage + understand + architect and can blow up in your face hard if used incorrectly
