I live in CA and experienced the 89 quake…..I’ve also been in Oakland when a 4.5 happened and I was in the dmv which was maybe 3 stories tall…. Shit is fucking terrifying…. When that quake happened in Oakland, women n children and even some men started crying…… Earthquakes are not like tornadoes or hurricanes….theres no warning and you have no control…. I literally was being thrown around while running about of a 6 story building….. They pop up and there’s nothing that you can do about them…. When I finally got out outside in 1989, cars were legit bouncing up and down in the parking lot….. I currently work on a 5 story tech building and pray every day that I survive…. Our engineering ain’t shit…..the planet will eat us if it wants to….

I've been calling high school basketball across this state for a decade. In my experience in the greater Green Bay Area, the "stall ball" tactic isn't happening all that frequently. In fact, I can think there's only a possession or two a season, that could "benefit" from a shot clock. You can make jokes about meat raffles or whatever. I think you're overestimating how easy this can be in certain towns

This is a sad day for Wisconsin high school hoops. Schools across the state can barely stay open, and 40% of the referendums this spring failed. Now schools have two years to implement a one time expense or cut basketball altogether. It may not sound like much but for some communities it's a big blow

Here are two trade ideas for the Bucks: 1) Trade Myles Turner and their No. 10 overall pick to the Clippers for their’ fifth overall pick. The Bucks can then take Darius Acuff Jr. or Michael Brown Jr., both big-time point guards. 2) The Pelicans are trying to get a lottery pick. The Bucks can accommodate them with the 10th pick and get Trey Murphy III in return. Murphy is 26, can score at a high level (21.5 pts last season) and can shoot the lights out. Get out the popcorn, the draft will be starting soon.

@esidery @sam_amick Herro would be a great fit for Detroit. Interested in the price. Everyone knows he is not a fit for MIL and not sure they have much leverage in a deal.

The Bucks plan to shop Tyler Herro in trade talks for more assets until the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade is officially finalized, per @sam_amick (nytimes.com/athletic/73857…). The Pistons are one of the teams known to hold real interest in obtaining Herro.
