You made some strong comments and I’m happy to share my opinion on your comments, just as you felt the need to comment on a 1 min video. Never feels like an attack. I’m always happy to talk football:)

But of course, I'm speaking to the one minutes video that was posted and that's the context. You expect me to go and surf the net and find an hour long video of the program before I make a comment? My point was simple, if you are gonna teach the kids how to dribble, then you will in the end teach defenders how to defend this dribble, no? Plus is there any denial that football these days has become academic and the natural flair dying? This is not an attack on your program it's just an observation across the game.

Our development structures needs these kind of coaches who pay attention to “little details”

@OfficialSitso @Benzo_Ndlovu You watch a 1 minute clip that was posted on twitter (not even by our program) and state “everything is academic”? You have zero context or idea about our program/our way/how we support ballers. Also please feel free to share suggestions. Respectfully.

This is probably why we have some of the worst wingers in the history of football in this generation. Not much comes to them naturally, everything is academic. Because then now the same coach must teach a defender how to stop what he has just taught the wingers. Stalemate. In the end the winger will stop and give a back pass.

@Benzo_Ndlovu We will never find the next Pele or Maradona or JayJay with these nerds in charge of youth development. The real joys of soccer - the inventiveness and spontaneity is being wrung out of the game. I hate it.

@templar2saint @Benzo_Ndlovu This is an interesting perspective but thank you. Just trying to positively support people by taking inspiration & discussing some details. Inspiration and creativity come from many sources. One of them being visualization and practice (varied forms).

The intention is to further develop tools for players to help inspire/develop more wingers. Feel free to share your suggestions & what you’re doing in⚽️

@Benzo_Ndlovu This is how you build robots over time. Over coaching is the reason why natural wide wingers have disappeared from football.
