The issue isn't about impeding the goalie. The issue is every team in the league have had their goalies impeded by Arsenal players this season, and nothing was done about it. They allowed those grapples, pushes, shoves and thereby set a precedent on how corners and set pieces were to be officiated this season. Chalking a goal off for impeding the GK, after setting a precedent to the contrary, on the most important game of the run-in and thereby deciding the title and relegation is why people are angry.

Not even remotely similar. That decision yesterday is obviously frustrating and bent as fuck but it’s hard to be too bothered by it as I don’t think we deserve to win the title. We only have a chance because Arsenal are shit themselves.

It’s hard to be too disappointed as this city team absolutely doesn’t deserve to win the title. If we were against a decent side we’d have been miles off it. But the difference in refereeing decisions for both sides this season has been very dodgy.

There’s a foul on todibo, mavropanos AND the West Ham goalie. But they rule it out for an arm across the goalie. Fair play Arsenal it’s a huge result and guaranteed them the title but I don’t wanna hear winging about refs after that and the atleti game. They’re getting away with murder.
