@VerminGurl I have a modest audience, it's completely okay to stream without a mod. Did without one for years. My only human mod isn't always around but my community is well-behaved and not too large so I can definitely manage things myself. I use Serybot though! it's so helpful.

@kwistinas Happens to me often. C0mms took literal years to get to me, some long enough that I've quit my projects. It makes me feel like me and my money are less important than others. I know it's numbers, unprofessionalism and "complexi(on)ty" sometimes.

Genuinely cannot stress out saddening and disheartening it feels to be ghosted by multiple artists who you've paid in feel over a year ago if not longer. Then seeing them post wips for bigger vtubers or leave your inquiries on seen.
Like even if I got the art pieces, all I can think of is how I wasn't treated with the same respect or courtesy. Makes me feel like I can't even commission my dream artists anymore. I gotta stick to skeb?

@riffmetic I accidentally bought an AI generated illustration from someone who marketed themselves as an artist. I got another artist to redraw it but asked first if it was okay if the reference is AI. Some artists genuinely don't even want to see AI illustrations at all and that's fair imo

@riffmetic I think it's just their boundaries. They probably do not support generative AI as an artist since it usually steals from artists. Plus, they might not trust you with using their art knowing you use generative AI.

I’m messaging a VGen artist to have a redeem animation made. I sent one real life reference and had AI create one of something I vaguely wanted.
The artist refused the commission, not wanting to use AI as reference material.
