It's sad to see emergency works that involve such an impact on the character of a building. This former pub in #stokeontrent obviously had some issues with detachment of the render but unfortunately the decision was taken to remove it completely.

@WormwoodStubbs This is Chetwynd where Clarice Cliff lived after she married. Built 1899, it should be listed as an example of an Arts and Crafts house. It is in a safe pair of hands at present.
