A few months ago I had @sious69 over for dinner and a spot of painting of some models that I had #3dprinted on one of my resin printers. He started painting this wonderful model, doing the face and chest, and left it with me.

Another wonderful year of games, and thanks to my regular gaming legends I am blessed to play with weekly and sometimes more frequently. My love of board gaming probably has more to do with the people I play with than I credit it for.

1. Aeon Trespass Odyssey I called this as my game of the year in January. Played 6 full Cycles, painted the entire game and filmed two playthroughs on my YouTube channel. It separates itself from KDM through incredible story, but they feel like opposite sides of the same coin.

It's time for everyone's favourite posts of the year... my top five board games of 2023. For whatever reason I stopped tracking my plays earlier this year, a good reminder to get back to it. Made picking my top 5 much harder. Anyway, let's get to it!
