@maryakpa_n Like when my female colleague bought a high end PC of about 1.5M. I've wanted to get a new PC too. I saw her own and said, if a woman with the same pay as me can buy that, I can buy it too. Lol. Later I heard her man got it for her. I just calm down go buy the one I fit afford.

My junior colleague at work earns ₦70,000 monthly. I know because I’m the one who approves payroll. Last Friday, she came to the office with a brand new iPhone 16 Pro Max and hair extension I know is at least ₦450,000. At lunch I joked and said “big girl.” She just smiled and said, “my friend, life is sweet.” I was complaining about how hard the country is. She said it won’t stop me from living well, that I should use my money and spoil myself. I just looked at her and continued eating my ₦700 meat pie and coke. By 4;00 PM, a GLK came to pick her up. She didn’t even say goodbye to the HOD. Some people are living a completely different Nigeria inside this same Nigeria.

Hotels don’t allow female staff take your bags to your room. I had an encounter where I was asked to wait for someone to take my bag and it was the GM that did because he was the male available. I found it funny and told the ladies that you dey here and oga dey carry bag, and they said it was policy . My guy just dey laugh. He had to ask if it was a lady checking in, who would carry the bag. He then cracked a joke that maybe they are afraid of a situation where babe go carry bag go up and she no go come down, and everybody burst laugh.

Not wanting to ‘let her down’ You’d be shocked that.. Most of these Women prefer dating a Man that looks like an Odogwu on the outside(just so their friends and mothers can rate them), while suffering inside the marriage knowing the Man is struggling in real time.. Some babes are ready to foot the house bills so far the Man dey drive Benz(even though money no dey again) They’ll pick that over a Man that doesn’t fit the Odogwu standard outside but is financially buoyant enough in real time to keep the house running That’s why they try hard to make it look like their Man does this and that for them(in presence of their friends).. Just so their ‘gurrrrrrls’ can at least rate them. I’ll end it with this.. If she has nonsense friends and a nonsense mother, if your union last, make I bend.
