I also met a family that were talking about buying Armored Mewtwo for $35 from someone online. I had extras, so I traded each of them one for free. Whoever is out there selling their Pokemon - shame on you. I will never condone that stuff. It’s free to be a good person.

Pokémon GO Fest Chicago was amazing! 👏🏻 These in-person events have always been my favorite and most memorable times playing Pokémon GO. Of course the in- game event is super fun, spawns/raids etc, but without all the people around, without the community atmosphere, these events simply wouldn’t be worth traveling to and you’d be better off just waiting for Global GO Fest. Going to these in-person events always reminds me how incredible our community is, and why the game is still going strong after 10 years. The spontaneous interactions you’re able to have with people around and how easy it is to strike up conversations and make friends at these events is priceless. Thank you to everyone I was able to meet during my time in Chicago! Everyone was so nice, and I’m really grateful to everyone who came and said hello to me, all the new people I met, as well as seeing so many familiar faces and catching up with friends I haven’t seen for months and sometimes years. I can’t emphasize enough how great the community atmosphere was in Chicago! Was such a great time all round and made some great memories. While the in-game luck at these events may vary and we’re not always able to get everything we wanted, and simply feel disappointment because rng didn’t go your way sometimes, what you are guaranteed to get at these events is a great time with people and that’s the most important part! @RobertS60154326 Armored Mewtwo doesn’t have a shiny variant. You get a free daily pass. For what I traded versus what they were going to pay, even if they raided one.. it would have still been free.

@snapbackdom_ While it’s crazy it’s sometimes cheaper to buy them than buy the raid passes… who’s the real villain..

During the party I gave out custom TCG cards of my community ambassadors which everyone thought was the coolest thing ever! I commissioned @LydiaBraggArt for the art and then I designed the cards.

Today I threw my Pokémon Go Community Ambassadors a sendoff party. I wanted to thank them both for everything they've done for us. I love them so much and I'll miss them a lot. Congrats to them on graduating and I wish them the best wherever they end up next.

@taku0x At the end of the day, it’s just a game, right? I love the game don’t get me wrong, but I love people more. And it makes me happy to do a good deed AND prevent some snake out there from getting $35 a pop from others. And it’s the thought that you would if you could that counts!

@snapbackdom_ Its ridiculous. But I suppose the second they let that one guy back in the game that was selling mewtwos a few years ago it kind ended the threat of loosing your account for doing it I suppose. should be an instant lifetime ban getting caught taking advantage of players
