There was a hybrid Punjabi-Mexican community forming in early 1900s California 🇺🇸. Punjabi men migrating for agricultural work in the Central Valley began marrying the local Mexican women. This slowly stopped once the 1965 immigration laws let them go back to Punjab for wives.
