UCC SRC SIGNS AN MOA WITH UCC YOUNGSTERS TO TAKE OWNERSHIP OF THE FOOTBALL TEAM ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ In a historic and exciting development today, the 63RD UCC SRC under my leadership has officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement with UCC Youngsters, a vibrant football team on campus that plays at the division one level in Ghana’s Premier League as majority shareholders. This landmark partnership signals a bold step towards elevating campus football, empowering student-athletes, and creating new opportunities for talent to thrive within the University of Cape Coast. The ceremony brought together SRC executives, the management of UCC Youngsters, members of the UCC Youngsters team, and other guests. With this partnership, the future of campus football looks brighter than ever. Last night, I had the honour of being recognized at the Central Excellence Awards 2026 as the Outstanding Student Leader. I receive this award with deep humility and gratitude. Leadership is built on the trust, support, and collective effort of many people. I am sincerely grateful to every student who believed in the vision, every executive who worked tirelessly, and everyone who continues to support the work we are doing. Serving as SRC President of the University of Cape Coast has been both a privilege and a responsibility I do not take lightly.
