Passing a bill that extends the state statutory deadline to 2028 to remove QR coded votes from the ballot- does nothing but sanctions the violation of federal law for two more years. There is no way for Georgia voters to verify their votes (as required by the HAVA) because people cannot read QR codes. It is unlawful and the reasons that Georgia legislators passed SB189 which mandated the QR code to be removed- two years ago- remain.
