Why do I keep posting receipts? Why does it matter what's said online? Why does it matter if certain people start inserting themselves into spaces? Why won't we just let things go?
It's not about being sensitive to rude comments by random people. It's not simply "not liking" a person. It's not just "online trolls."
It's:
- Stalking and filming us in real life. Disturbing enough in itself, but it was (knowingly, deliberately) during an incredibly distressing ordeal for Amanda and her family. It could have caused a dangerous situation in multiple ways.
- Posting, along with a photo, a map to our exact location during the one semi-peaceful, semi-private moment of each day, for any and all other stalkers to find us.
- Multiple false reports to the police from multiple people. Doing this because they know Amanda is more at risk of being noticed and targeted by the police, despite the accusations being totally false. Using the police to harass and terrorise her. Making a very real effort to have her arrested, taken away from her children, and imprisoned *almost certainly with men again*.
People who have listened (obsessively) to her explain how terrifying and traumatic it was - how she was at risk of being raped by violent men - an experience she only ever shared to help stop other women having to endure the same - those people actively try to have her thrown back in there.
- Doxing: publicly posting and spreading around her full name, address and phone number when she had kept herself anonymous after being advised to for her and her children's safety.
- Sending the dox directly to unstable men who then threatened to come to her house and commit violence.
- Going after her children and her as a mother in the most horrendous ways. This is one of the main methods to harass her. Why are they bringing anyone's children into their hatred for their mother? None of her children have ANYTHING to do with what she is on X for. There's absolutely no excuse or justification for this, but they do it constantly. There have been threats to sabotage her son's life (and make this look like Amanda's fault) and sick, gleeful plans made to stalk him in real life as well as her.
- Going after other members of her family too. They follow her into spaces with their hundreds of sock accounts, many using names aimed at causing distress. Constantly targeting her son. An account with her dead mother's name. They've made thinly veiled threats to go after living family members. Open threats to contact them. Disgusting, untrue things written about her younger children and very young granddaughter.
- A three-year ongoing smear campaign with the most vicious and outrageous lies I've ever seen. The scale of it is unreal. They edit clips of her speaking, post out of context snippets, and splice clips together to make out she's said things she never did. They edit screenshots of messages and create wholly fake ones. They fake call logs and other data as and when it suits. Anything to demonise, anything to cover their tracks. Anything to make themselves look like victims. Other than that, they provide zero evidence for any of the accusations they make. They tell lie after lie and laugh and lie some more whenever they're asked for proof.
They use a tiny sprinkle of truth, a twisted half truth, and mix well with lie upon lie upon lie. They twist and turn and manipulate to baffle and intimidate anyone trying to understand the truth. They post newspaper articles about her without ever providing the context, and tell blatant lies about her past when they KNOW the truth.
