It's been a wild ~10.5 yr ride at Twitter! When you're in a job that long, you'd have been through so much that words won't fit into a Tweet (despite being 280 chars which I helped build). Twitter, the company and the product has influenced and shaped up my life so much.

I've had survivor's guilt on many layoffs in my career and for once it feels good to be free from that. Godspeed to everyone who are let go. You’ll come out of this stronger and better! Good luck to everyone left at the Tweet factory!

@bluesmoon Both my kids go to public schools in the South Bay (West San Jose). Carlton Elementary and Union Middle School are pretty good. They fall under Union School District. unionsd.org

@getluky This resonates with me, having gone through the exact same experience while at Yahoo (was in Yahoo mail at that time). Whether or not this goes through, this is a huge distraction for sure.
