Do you know what many of the highest-performing countries in education have in common? There is a strong emphasis on treating teachers with respect and providing them with support and recognition for their work. They prioritize the development and well-being of their teachers. These countries typically offer competitive salaries, ongoing training and support, opportunities for career advancement, and a culture that values the teaching profession.

Pretty much every teacher has come to school when their sick because the lesson was not a good day to be sick. We've also called in sick to catch up on grading. ALL SICK DAYS SHOULD BE PERSONAL LEAVE DAYS. Also, the schedule should allow for teachers to do their job at school 100% so they don't have to call in sick to grade.

Busted out the @Raspberry_Pi to do some physical computing last Friday. My little group was able to turn on an LED and make it blink using python. Tomorrow the same group will build the traffic light!
