Every day I go to school, I can’t help but think about all the other things I could be learning.
I could be acquiring skills that will pay me well in the future.
I could be building products.
I could be working on ideas I genuinely believe in.
I could be spending my time mastering things I’m actually passionate about.
Yet I still show up because society has convinced many of us that no matter what we achieve, we’re somehow incomplete without a certificate.
The irony is that school is supposed to be a place for education.
And education is supposed to be about learning.
But learning has never been limited to a classroom.
Some of the most valuable things I’ve learned never came from a lecture hall.

@richsongocrazy A reflection I had yesterday was about the isolation I brought on myself while trying to learn tech.
Mehnnn, I distanced myself from people, even those in tech, because I wanted to learn on my own and rely on my own ability.
But now, I need the network I didn't build back then.

What I got done today as an independent contractor: • Showed up on all my socials • Posted twice on LinkedIn (third one on its way) • Revamped my portfolio • Built 3 subpages for a client (version 2, they loved v1 enough to retain me) • Updated another client’s dashboard • Currently implementing feedback on an AI wrapper integration Just stacking wins daily. My software developer friend made 10million naira last month
He is just 22.
No connections.
He is a Computer Science grad.
