A group of our diasporan doctor siblings have now launched two clinics for low-income earners in Lagos to access quality healthcare. They basically find abandoned buildings, convert them into hospitals, and make them affordable for local communities that cannot afford expensive healthcare. It costs them a lot to run because they are low-income facilities. So far, they have launched two clinics and are hoping to open a third. They are seeking donations from well-meaning Lagosians and the diaspora community. Even if you are not a doctor, remember, you are helping to save a life. Please join Kwanda and support. The link will be in the comments, and you can also check them out on Instagram and their other social platforms to donate directly. 📷: joinkwanda/ig

@CspIniedu @PoliceNG_CRU @TunjiDisu1 @PoliceNG @PrinceAdedigba1 Delta State Police Command and POS Operators are 5&6. This one happened at C Division Asaba where they have a Stationed POS Operators that helps them launder money from daily collection. The DPO and all his men are aware of this evil trend. The Police PRO image maker Bright wey nor Bright should come forward and tell Nigerians why Delta State Police Command should have POS operators working daily in almost all the police station in Delta State. For the Inspector General of Police @TunjiDisu1 to win the fight against Extortion and arbitrary arrest, he should start from Delta State because the so called Image maker covers their atrocities. I’m not even sure I should post this, but a friend told me about a wedding she went to last weekend. During the couple’s dance, the groom’s ex showed up in a wedding gown and tried to disrupt things. What stood out was how calm the bride was. Maybe she already knew about crazy ex. Apparently no one confronted her or dragged her out. Everyone just ignored her and continued the ceremony. After she finished her display, she got tired and left on her own. These things really happen in real life, and most don’t even make it online.

It’s fine really, I’m not a victim. No one can ever bully me on the internet. My restraint is only because I hold myself to God’s standard and in service to the children I stand in the gap for. I spent 7 months under Oshodi Bridge working in the worst conditions with some of the most violent people. Twitter trolling is at best amusing and I’m mostly just laughing at the comments and blocking aggressive people. I have a full life away from here. But it’s important that I continue to use this account to remind us that there’s still some good in the world. I’ll never stop🙏🏾
Lawrence@EkunweL

Personally I don't like what that guy is doing to Tunde Onakoya. There should always be room for nuance, and Tunde is a great guy who has positively changed the lives of many young boys in the slum. I don't accept the bully towards him.

TROOPS SMASHES BANDIT STRONGHOLDS IN BAUCHI, RESCUES HOSTAGES RECOVERS ARMS Troops of 33 Artillery Brigade under Operation WUTAN DAJI have recorded a significant operational success following a coordinated clearance operation in Kumbodoro Forest and Kumbodoro Village in Bauchi State. The offensive offensive operation dealt a major setback to bandit networks operating within the area. Troops successfully cleared multiple bandit enclaves, including the notorious Azuge camps within the Kumbodoro Forest axis. Supported by the Air Component, the troops neutralised several bandits and dismantled key operational bases, further degrading the criminals’ capability to threaten lives and property of citizens. The operation led to rescue of eight kidnapped victims. A thorough search of the bandits enclave led to the recovery of cache of arms and equipment, including 4 skeletal rifles, 4 dane guns, one FN rifle magazine, one AK-47 magazine, as well as communication devices and other operational items. Other recovered items include 2 pairs of boots, 3 helmets, one power bank, one StarTimes decoder, QJC meta links, one jackknife, 6 mobile handsets, arrows, radio chargers, OPAY ATM cards, photographs, an identity card, several pairs of security agency uniforms and leg chains. Relatedly, troops deployed at Duguri while acting on credible intelligence, recovered 36 cows at Mushen Kura Village in collaboration with local vigilantes. The livestock are believed to have been abandoned by fleeing bandits due to sustained military pressure. Efforts are ongoing to identify and return the animals to their rightful owners. The Nigerian Army remains resolute in its mission to restore peace and stability across all theatres of operation, leveraging intelligence-driven operations, joint force synergy and strategic partnerships to deny bandits and terrorists any safe haven.
