When President Obasanjo temporarily removed fuel subsidy in 2003 or thereabout, fuel price climbed from N26 to N42. People grumbled as usual, but did you know his response? That, if Nigerians are willing to buy a bottle of beer for more money, why complain about the cost of fuel? Labor Congress wasn’t having it. They protested so hard and nearly crashed the economy and Obasanjo grudgingly reinstated fuel subsidy in 2006! So where did Nigerians learn this culture of suffering and smiling today? How did you go from paying N42 a liter to N1,370 a liter with no pushback?

Cervical cancer kills about 8,000 women in Nigeria every year, even though it is a disease that the HPV vaccine can prevent. Nkechi said she’s covered by the blood of Jesus so she doesn’t need any vaccine. But Nkechi has forgotten that God gave us doctors too. Faith and medicine are not enemies, they are teammates. If prevention exists and you can access it, using it is not a lack of faith. It’s wisdom. Get the HPV vaccine and tell a woman you love to get it too. Retweet, so more people see this.

Have you gotten the HPV vaccine? If not, what is stopping you? And when are you planning to get it?

If you are driving within Abuja at night, make sure your Central lock is always active. If you are driving without AC,make sure your glasses are up to the level that a finger cannot enter fully. This is not the time to be giving strangers a lift at night,I know you are a good person, but safety first please. When you stop at a traffic light, always be at alert, your eyes should be on your surroundings, always watch your rear view mirror to see what's happening behind you. Thank you, don't mention.

To the car owners in Abuja, one of the ways car snatchers operate in Abuja is by hitting your car from behind, just a little dent. They would get angry with you and blame you for the accident, you would be so furious to want to follow them with anger. Please do not dare let your emotions lead you into their trap. The people in that car would be up to 3-4 in number. The moment you follow them away from the spot the accident happened to a place with lesser crowd, they will attack you and collect your car. If your car is scratched in Abuja and it's not much, please just go your way. If it's something you can't let go,do not move to a place with less crowds, and remain where people can see all of you. I have no reason to lie to you. You are welcome.

Abuja is not safe. Abuja is not safe Especially at night. Every day I come out here to say things going on in this city, people think I'm just chasing clout. Every day I post the corolla car and tag it the most stolen car in Abuja and that whoever owns one has a target on his back, people think I was joking. This uber driver was k'lled yesterday night in zone 6 Abuja. He is a father of 4 children and he stays in jabi Abuja. I can't count how many people that I know that have lost their lives in the hands of car snatchers. If you wanna know how terrible Abuja is,ask a policeman that works at night, you would be scared of moving at night. If you are based in Abuja, please be careful how you move at night. I tweeted about this same place that it's part of the hot spots where cars are being snatched last week or so. A word is enough for the wise.

If you are based in Abuja or you are new to Abuja, take this information very seriously. The people you see roaming the city at night are not normal human beings. Any mistake you make in this city, you are gone. Always tell people where you are going to. When you book an uber ride, always verify the car plate number, the driver picture before you enter the car. If you can go out with one person that is family, better for you. A lot of terrible things are going on in this city, that is not in the news. If your car breaks down in major parts of this city, leave it alone and run away from the car first and look for help first. Late night movements aren't advisable,if you must go out, ensure you know those you are hanging out with and you tell people where you are going to. A word is enough for the wise.

Two teachers killed in the same month? The internet is actually doing more harm to me than good, at this point. I refuse to be desensitized to happenings like this but sponging up all these news is devastatingly depressing.
