@FitbitSupport Your customer support reps have escalated the issue where the Fitbit app stopped recording swimming distance which was the whole reason I bought my Luxe watch. When I posted to Fitbit community online, numerous users said the same thing happened. A fix, please?

@TeamTurboTax New Yorkers beware. TurboTax customer service said the federal package would let us prep and file taxes at no additional charge bc NYS has free efiling. After prepping my fed taxes, the program requires $45 to get to state forms. Bait & switch! @NewYorkStateAG

@alykatzz The effects of tidal flooding and sea level rise, let alone storm surge, are a plague for some city neighborhoods. It may require some financial planning particularly if the feds shift responsibility for emergency response to the states. But…

Tonight, the Senate finally corrects a fifty-year mistake by passing the Social Security Fairness Act. Millions of retired teachers and firefighters and letter carriers and state and local workers have waited decades for this moment. No longer will public retirees see their hard-earned Social Security benefits robbed from them, thanks to this bill.

Shocking Upper West Side bagel news. Absolute Bagels is "closed for good," multiple employees said on Thursday. The storefront is already shuttered. Unclear the reasoning for the closure but it is not the health department. “There are many problems. The owner is old.”
