I’m actually in tears at this story of james cameron struggling with the exposition in avatar 2 so he buys a copy of the wga magazine advertising an article with tips for exposition writing and then when he opens it up it’s based on his screenplay for the terminator

@How2Drink I’m glad you felt the same way; all I could think about was Gattaca when I first read that headline. This is the kind of idea that could only sound appealing to the ultra-rich to try and further cement their sense of superiority.

I'm researching Musk, Longtermism, and Pronatalism, while listening to Purturbator and uh... i'm experiencing some very dark and dystopian vibes here... I don't like this...

@simondotcom Dang, I didn’t realize you had gone over to Sloan’s. I know what you mean though, the sacrifices they expect are ridiculous. When they’re busy, you can’t even rest between shifts and forget about spending any time with family around any holiday ever…it’s nuts!

@simondotcom Damn straight, this is one of the main reason I didn’t hop back on board at Littleton…management asks too much of its staff with these big tent poles. There’s never enough time to clean those packed theaters in between showings and it results in having no time to eat or rest.
