Difficult to know who comes in but the Silva contract can’t be doing his career and definitely not Fulham as a club any good. Sign by the end of the week or go if I’m Shahid Khan.

@MJ_Smithy @Russ_Goldman Exactly there are 10 teams in the PL who would expect to finish above us every season by right but we’ll somehow find a magic manager who will make us better than Silva and will walk us into Europe. The best silva replacement is silva.

@Russ_Goldman Today was crap and yes we were awful, but some serious consideration needs to be given to how good we actually are and the budget/investment at a club of our size! Look at Villa last week, not 1 of our players makes their starting X1!

Time to go Marco. Thank you for being a great manager of Fulham and I hope you find the right club for you. Fulham need to find a manager to take the club to Europe. Unfortunately, you are not that manager. All the best and thank you for the memories. #FFC

Not sure he’d have made much of a difference today but a Sander Berge less Fulham is not a good sight. Footballs about more than goals & assists.

@HammyEnd The best replacement for Silva is Silva but at the same time the fans/club should have some clarity by now.

Plenty of people have aimed pelters at Marco Silva. The man who got #ffc promoted at the first time of asking and broke the yo-yo curse whilst winning #sw6 derbies. They know who they are. Silva's a superb coach - and we'll miss him when he goes #coyw

@JustinCorbin4 @DaveLovell6 @FulhamTransfer @WhiteNoise1879 @FulhamishPod Not the first time I’ve heard this either mate. First thought it was just bollocks but way too much noise around it to not be something. At game yesterday also 🤦🏻‍♂️ I’ve never once admired his Football style, & just can’t get on board. Some pro’s to it I guess, a real tough one.

@1966MJG @Ifield74 When omari Hutchinson is going for 37m this is decent business. Palace will have to pay the same for Guessand.

Hartman & Fleming should be added to Fulham’s squad for next season. Oscar Bobb making Wilson’s negotiation position look pretty rock solid.

@maxmel171 @FulhamTransfer You’d think we got beat 3 or 4-0 reading the timeline. Would’ve taken a draw before the game - would take a draw next season whoever’s in charge.

Fans who mindlessly spam “Silva out” every time we don’t get our way should be legally required to suggest a new manager who’s going to get us into Europe and win us a trophy. A 0-0 draw away to Forest shouldn’t be met with this reaction, they’re a good defensive team #ffc

@KeithLove2025 @henrywinter Wasn’t a cup final any team turns up and beats spurs. Saints and West Ham were just better teams than Spurs.

@henrywinter Small club mentality. Their cup final was last week, taking points of Spurs. Surely Palace last year is an example to them of what could be achieved. Instead the bottled it.

Marco Silva is three short of a century of wins as Fulham head coach. He’s overseen 220 games in almost five years in charge. Only Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta have been in charge of their clubs longer in the Premier League atm. Silva's highly regarded, rightly so, as he regularly over-achieves with the playing cards he’s dealt: got Fulham up as champions in first season (21/22), then 10th, 13th, 11th and currently 10th in the Premier League. Safe hands, guaranteed PL security, club boards like that. But Silva's approach to the FA Cup tie against Southampton felt a mistake, a missed opportunity, wasting a chance for Fulham fans to enjoy some added adrenalin to another safe season, some quickened step in their Spring. Fans understandably want a run at a Cup, especially as Fulham aren’t at risk of relegation (12 points above drop zone). Maybe Silva’s remit is to finish in the European places. Fulham are only four points off seventh. Maybe. The FA Cup also offers a route into Europe. Did Silva underestimate Championship visitors? Saints were in good form, unbeaten in 9 going into the game, inspired by Eckart and shouldn’t have been taken lightly. Silva resting the likes of Sander Berge was understandable, given the midfielder’s workload. It was not the fact that Silva made 9 changes - Wilson was injured, there was still plenty of talent on show - but that he didn’t make more changes earlier in a game scoreless until the 91st minute. Iwobi for Cairney after 65 minutes was the only change until 89 when King replaced Smith Rowe. Why not King earlier? Silva pointed to chances not taken – Fulham had 24 attempts on goal. Why not Raul Jimenez earlier? Fulham’s second top scorer (after Wilson) arrived at 92 for Reed – after Stewart had scored for Southampton (91). Added time stretched to 99 mins. Silva used only three subs. Saints march on. Fulham reflect on a missed opportunity. If Silva is leaving this summer, he could have left fans with the great memory of a Cup run. #FFC
