UC youth are behaving like absolute idiots on Instagram. Protesting against the paper leak is completely justified. But how dumb do you have to be to allow this to be hijacked. It is giving voice to communists whose entire politics is built around destroying whatever merit is left in this country? Have you even bothered to read their manifesto? More freebies. Breaking the 50% reservation ceiling. Reservation in the private sector. This is what you're amplifying. You're claiming to fight for merit while empowering people who openly want to dismantle it. That's not activism. That's political self-sabotage. Don't act shocked when these become the main election issues tomorrow. You helped make them mainstream. Nakul Dhull was there at the protest today. There were nearly 1.5 - 2 lakh people according to him.

Some segments from media have mentioned sporadic use of violence/detentions at Jantar Mantar by Delhi Police. It is informed that no such incident has taken place and protest is being handled professionally. All are requested not to fall pray to any rumour/ misgivings, and, to assist Delhi Police in maintaining peace and public order at and around the site.
