@TeamYouTube I know what it means but don't know how it ever applied to me? I can be expected to fix a problem I can't see. @TeamYouTube

@tubeslayer69 Hi there. To clarify, Inauthentic content refers to mass-produced or repetitive content. Keep uploading original content, make changes based on the feedback you received via email. You can find more info here: goo.gle/4eDtS1A

I guess my letter did its job. If your channel got hit by inauthentic content, check your email or your channel right now. A lot of creators woke up today to find their monetization restored after months of fighting appeals. Sometimes pushing back actually works. Keep the pressure on.
Bryan Ng@boomerrbryan

Dear YouTube, We need to talk. For the last 15 years, we built this platform with you. We woke up at 3 AM to upload videos. We funneled our savings into cameras, mics, editors, and thumbnails. We sacrificed birthdays, weddings, and weekends to ship one more upload. We turned our living rooms into studios. We turned our voices into livelihoods. We turned strangers into communities of millions because you told us this was the future. And now we are watching that future get taken from us, one channel at a time. The recent AdSense wave is the worst it has ever been. Real creators with real audiences and real businesses are watching everything disappear overnight. People who never broke a single rule. People who poured a decade of their lives into building something honest. The email comes in and the entire business is gone. No appeal that actually works. No human to talk to. No path back. Some of these creators have 6 channels under one AdSense. All 6 die in the same notification. Years of work erased in a single algorithm decision nobody at YouTube can even explain. The support is broken. The "creator chat" is a script reading bot pretending to listen. The appeal forms feel like sending letters into the void. Real questions get template responses. Real evidence gets ignored. Real businesses get crushed and nobody at the company seems to care. We are not asking for charity. We are asking for basic respect. We built this platform for you. We brought you the billions of hours of attention you sell to advertisers. We attracted the audiences you monetize. We are the reason YouTube is one of the largest companies on the internet. Every single dollar of that value passed through someone who set up a camera in their bedroom and hit upload. And the way you treat us back is to ban us by mistake, ignore our appeals, and tell us the algorithm decided. This is not how you treat the people who built your empire. We are not the enemy. We are the product. And right now, we are tired, hurt, and watching friends lose everything they built because nobody at YouTube cares enough to pick up the phone. Do better. The creators you forgot.

@boomerrbryan Been on @rumblevideo now for 2 years and having a blast. Sure is slow growing, but as a gun channel that was constantly under fire for just trying to “follow the rules” it’s a massive improvement to just upload, and forget about worrying if the video gets nuked or not.

I have gotten a positive email from Sameer with positive information that I was still under review, And prior  to that was given a letter from Chris on 5/4 saying my appeal was denied . I am confused and my appeal video has not even been looked at. So being I have two conflicting emails and no resolve. Non the less I would like a straight answer if my  case is open or closed and denied. And I want a human to watch my video that took me a day to make and look into my channel. I feel if you do you will monetize my channel again. 5-1691000041350 @TeamYouTube

I have got mixed message from YouTube emails saying you're under review after messages saying it your appeal was denied. I just want a straight non-AI response and to know that someone will actually look at my appeal video and channel and care to make a fare discission. I have zero views on my appeal video. What do I have to do to get a response? I post this 5-1691000041350.and am told to refer to this for the answer? @TeamYouTube

@real_Monumental YouTube says not to delete any videos, or you can't file an appeal video, I thought about deleting my shorts but didn't because of that reason.

If you have been demonetized for inauthentic content... I am not telling you what to do, but I want to tell you what I did in my situation. Since I knew they would be reviewing my channel, I wanted to make it look as cleaned up and authentic as possible. 👉 I changed the titles and thumbnails for a large portion of my videos. Overly similar titles and thumbnails are a big trigger point for YouTube's AI moderation (at least that is what I have been told). 👉 I created a channel trailer featuring ME in the video, talking about my vision and goal for the channel. I pinned this video to the top of my channel for both returning subscribers and new viewers. 👉 I deleted 100% of my shorts/reels. Most of them were simply clips and shorter edits of my long-form stuff. I think this was a major thing that got my channel in trouble in the first place... as it was viewed as being repetitive by YT. I deleted them all and then posted a couple reels talking about my new videos/behind the scenes stuff. 👉 I looked over my channel for any of my videos that might be perceived as being low-effort or mass produced and either deleted them or set them to private. My plan is to take some of these deleted videos and add intros and outros with ME featured, and upload them again in the future with these changes. 👉 I posted a couple long-form videos with ME in them talking about my channel demonetization. (I just wanted to post anything that I could that featured ME in the video, even if it had nothing to do with my normal content). 👉 I changed my profile picture from a logo to a picture of myself. My goal with all of this was simply to balance out my faceless content with more videos featuring ME. YouTube wants to know that there is a real and authentic creator behind our channels, and I think that making these changes helped my case when they did their review.

@TeamYouTube MetalWorkz - YouTube, I was demonetized on 4/20, I made an appeal video, but it has not been viewed. I have gotten a few conflicting letters some positive and some negative. How do I find out what's going on and have a human review my video and channel? I truly believe this was a mistake by the AI. Thanks for your time. Dan
