I think the logic is being misunderstood. Imagine I have been buying a product for 20k for years without any issue. Then a new CEO comes in and suddenly increases the price to 150k. I can no longer afford it. Instead of addressing the price hike, he tells me not to worry because he will lend me the money to buy it, and I can repay later at my convenience. Now consider that I must buy this product every year for four years and for three different people over. Over time, that “help” becomes a growing debt burden, not a solution. Then someone tells me I should be praising the CEO because he gave me a loan, even if it is interest free. If you were in my position, would you praise the CEO, or would you question why the price was increased in the first place and prefer to pay for the product yourself without accumulating unnecessary debt? That is exactly how I see this student loan conversation.

I do not support NELFUND, but I will not blame him for celebrating its impact on his academic journey.
