I probably won't be active here any more. This account goes into a maybe temporary, maybe permanent hiatus. See u on the other site (@twomikecharlie" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">social.troll.academy/@twomikecharlie)

IIRC this is the 4th time I witness a big wave of people saying they would leave twitter for another social media platform. The 2nd round to mastodon. Let's see how it turns out this time. My fediverse handle is @twomikecharlie@social.troll.academy

@evanslify Would be suprising to me, because I don't observe the behaviour with another laptop, with similar power specs. Nevertheless I'll measuere it.

@twoMikeCharlie It could be possible that your charger is not providing 65W and it fallback to something like 15W. When your platform power consumption exceeds the watts given by charger, it will stop charging and use battery instead.

My thinkpad can't decide if it wants to charge with my travel USB-PD PSU. The charging state cycles between discharging, pending-carge, and charging. Every other PD device I own works perfectly. If the TP is connected to the lower-spec'd port, it charges. Sometimes.

People often ask us how we collaborate. Well, I can't tell much about it, but here is the answer (we wouldn't be a german team if we hadn't a written policy for that 😏)

.@AWSSecurityInfo team: You must sign an NDA to receive a Bug Bounty. Me: I don't normally agree to NDAs. Can I read it first before agreeing? AWS: We're unable to share the BB program NDA since it and other contract documents are considered sensitive by the legal team

@halvarflake Please don‘t. They will come back with little understanding of what they have seen and will force what they understood as „the google way“ onto their overworked, underpaid 5 infrastructure guys with a tenth of the annual budget they would actually need.

The latest Google Pixel 6 pwned with a 0day in kernel! Achieved arbitrary read/write to escalate privilege and disable SELinux without hijacking control flow. The bug also affects Pixel 6 Pro, other Pixels are not affected :)
