@tristanseifert I’ve only used clang for x86_64 work, haven’t used it for embedded yet. I agree that it’s better than gcc in every way, will definitely have to consider it for future work

That being said, I hate C++ with the fiery burning passion of a thousand suns. I would much rather write Rust macros than dealing with bonkers template metaprogramming

I previously was wary of C++ on microcontrollers because it bloated the binary with useless overhead, but it looks like GCC 11 is much better, and I’ve actually seen a *reduction* in code size switching from GCC 9 C to GCC 11 C++.

@mattsiegel There were several attempts to combine pinball with a video game around 1982-1983. Gottlieb’s “Caveman” was another one. I don’t think they were very successful.
