@Mattlinn01 @brandenflasch I think they most definitely are gonna give that option. Maybe even some incentives for people to upgrade their current Orders move existing inventory. Discounted FSD or supercharging?

@brandenflasch I wouldn’t be surprised if they simply forced those people to upgrade to a Premium AWD model or lose their deposit.

What are the odds Tesla tells people ordering now that they have to take delivery in 3 months vs in 2027? Timelines like this are just crazy and can't really be planned around unless they're solid

I think a lot of people that ordered now due to FOMO, might not have the funds or change their mind when it’s closer to delivery and there might be some inventory popping up here and there. You just gotta keep your eye on inventory page or call the local store once celebrity start and you can switch out for it. It happened with foundation Cybertrucks in the first few months of delivery.

Sheesh…this is more than just demand. This is supply constraints. Too much demand for supplier delivery I guess.

Tesla should make the Premium AWD Cybertruck $69,420 Would get Dual Motor customers to expedite their delivery + purchase more vehicle features. 20k cost parity is too high imo. Will Osborne effect the Premium trims.
