This beautiful piece of art depicting Jesus riding into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday was done by the very talented artist Rick Griffin. I grew up appreciating Rick’s cartoons in Surfer magazine, and I had the privilege of getting to know him personally as well. He blossomed into an incredible artist, and this particular piece is from a series of paintings and graphics he created for a special Gospel of John book with Pastor Chuck Smith. P.S.-see if you can spot the little surfer dude with a skateboard in the image.
