every project starts with one question - does this actually make sense for the user? everything else follows from there @watermelonshstd

how to build a perfect landing page? the thoughts: > hero headline is the product description. > social proof buried below the fold > form asking for 6 fields: name, email, company, role, team size, phone the fix: > new headline let with the outcome, not the feature > social proof moved up to section two > form kept short upto two fields: email + one qualifying question. one page. focused changes. real results.

typography - a topic often missed out by the designers. it tells the user how to feel about your product before they read a single word. rules to follow: > one display font, one body font. maxxx. > size contrast communicates hierarchy. if everything is the same size, nothing is important. > line height is the most underrated spacing decision in UI design. > never use a font because it’s “clean” use it because it’s right. font choice is brand voice before anyone reads the copy.

good design feels simple only after a lot of iterations.

we started Watermelon Studio because we were tired of seeing great ideas get ruined by poor design. poor taste. poor execution. founders came to us with real problems, but their product experience felt rushed and unclear. so we built a studio where design is treated as a business decision, not decoration. we focus on clear flows, clean interfaces, and design that can scale with the product. that’s the standard we work with at Watermelon Studio.

random thought: what if shaders lived in borders, not just backgrounds tried it in @framer with the liquid gradient shader on a button outline. something about it just makes the whole page feel more alive
