Day 7 of Lent 🤍 Lent is teaching me that not every opinion I have is the truth. Some of my views were shaped by pain, ego, pride, and the need to be right not the need to be righteous. I’m learning that following God means allowing Him to challenge my thinking… even when it bruises my pride. Because sometimes, the hardest sacrifice is not food, not comfort, not pleasure. It is surrendering the version of yourself you’ve defended for years. Jesus Christ did not come so we could remain the same. He came so we could be transformed. “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2 This Lent, I am not just giving things up. I am giving God permission to reshape how I see, how I think, and who I am becoming. Because growth begins where pride ends.
