Disrespect for teachers is so ingrained in our society now that parents, students, and non classroom school personnel even have a hard time hiding how they feel based on how they talk about and react to the needs teachers may have

I recently checked out the website of a D2 program who was around .500 last year. They listed a grand total of TWO high school players on their roster! The rest were transfers, including seven from D1 programs. HS Players - Read between the lines here...You need to be open to ALL divisions!

Parents take their kids and miss school and practice and do not even ask anymore now it’s just “my kid isn’t coming to school, weights , practice” shocker that no one wants to coach anymore can’t figure out why ❗️

Your job as a Head Coach is to get the program to it's ceiling. The ceiling is different at each place. This can be a very difficult concept for parents, players, coaches, and administration to understand. Work to get your program to it's individual ceiling.
