Hold yourself to high standards and don't outsource your thinking to people on social media.

But, realistically, there are always going to be trans people doing that and it will be algorithmically rewarded. A habit of reading the body of laws will help you not get jerked around as much.

@reterritorial And as someone who is in a left-of-center bubble, microaggressions I've experienced and negative sentiments I've internalized about transness have been feminist in idiom. So, that sucks.

@reterritorial I understand having ambivalent and hard-to-articulate feelings about feminist subcultures. Feminism was a lens I used to articulate my sense that the way gender works is wrong, and to understand some early experiences. But it's also obviously been a font of antitrans stuff

Had a lot of low-stakes pleasant interactions with local trans people I don't know super well lately so maybe this whole hanging around trans people I don't know super well project is not a wash
