He’s 1v1 with Thiav. In all other DOGSO cases, the player would’ve been left 1v1 with the GK. In fact, it’s probably harder for Thiav to claim the ball cos he can’t use his hands.

@pelzfargo for me its a combination of the system regressing, poor recruitment in areas, poor usage of players, poor injury timings, regression of players and a bit of bad luck. the thing is some of these are solved by fixing poor usage of players but i'm not a manager so....🤷🏾♂️

The season before we signed Kai, we lost the league by 5 points.
The season he joined, he provided 9G/A in the final 10 games for the 23/24 run-in and we lost the league by 2 points.
Not saying Kai is all in all, but stop acting like he’s the reason everything went downhill

You had a really good system, scoring goals for fun and narrowly missing out on the league after being on top for most part of the season. Season ended, you lost one of your most influential players and characters in the team and you decided to replace him with Havertz for 65M. SIXTY FIVE!!! Ever since he's got here, you don't know how to platform him properly, midfield today, attack tommorow and yet he keeps costing us every now and then. But his fans see him as a messiah because he wins duels, links up play and make others play better. Lol. Arteta was on a very good path and was destined for greatness until he signed Kai. That signing was the beginning of the end for the beautiful project we believed in from the very start. That signing didn't improve us in any way. A proper Xhaka replacement should've been signed and not someone whose position fluctuates. If Xhaka had been replaced properly that season, we might have carried on with the form of 22/23 and do wonders in 23/24. It just saddens me that some Arsenal fans still wants him to start ahead of Gyökeres in the remaining games we have this season. You have someone who's scored 18 goals for you, something Kai hasn't managed to do since he's got here and you still want him benched because of duels?!?! Eiiii Incase you've forgetten what Havertz has done since joining us and how much he's cost us all these years, I have not and I don't think I ever will. He's had decent spells but he's not been consistent enough and he's definitely not going to get better than this

Pressured by 1 player, ask yourself what Rodri or Bernardo would have done in this situation 9/10 times? This sometimes is simply the difference, it's an individual quality issue and a playing style issue. It's the whole teams approach to ball retention.
