@SuperCreekFreak I'm mostly still fighting RNG. Kitisan & Kawikami ghosted me today after Sr Summer and left me the worst "coulda been" run I ever had. Even used 2x whistle during final 3. Nuffin. Hurts bad on this one ... ended up a reasonable parent, but soooo far from where it was heading ...

@thelucentcomic @Hitchslap1 I've been in that situation, before. Weight training helps, but the scale will hate you the first couple of months. Then one day it started going down pretty steadily. Muscle = metabolism. My issue then became feeding the new metabolism. I was binging on weekends. GLP-1 helped.

I’m in this situation right now (kind of). I was in a sustained caleoric deficit for so long, my metabolism adapted. Meaning my bmr is now way below what it should be. Eating less is no longer on the cards for me, as I’m already way below where I should be. To lose weight again, I now must slowly eat more, especially protein, and keep doing resistance training to kick my metabolism up to where it should be.

I’ve often wondered about this. How is it possible to be in a caloric deficit and not lose weight?

What are your hormone levels?
Bodies are complicated.
Calories are simple.
If I drink a gallon of water + sodium, I'll gain weight - but zero calories.
In general, yes: less in, more out.
But there are many, many factors that conspire against this simplicity.

@Chester41585 @haruka_no_yume This comment does not have enough likes. Ghost in the Shell was masterfully crafted. That was rare for a long time. If you ask me, it's making a comeback with some recent things that clearly show labors of love with the form.
