Probably the most underrated Batman era between 1977-1981 it reached a lot of heights but most of it is pretty good

The first real good rogues team up, their interactions are a lot of fun and the spotlight issues really make Joker, Riddler, Catwoman, and Luthor shine. My only issue with it is a twist near the end.

Batman goes to France in order to solve an Alfred related mystery were we get a lot of Alfred backstory. I love a Batman out of Gotham story an this is a nice mystery

Probably one of the coolest Batman comics ever written, if you like the BTAS episode, read this, its even better. It's also Len Wein's debut on Batman and he really sets the noir tone for Batman. Lupus is also a great layered character.
