@angelfoodles @TinyElNews it’s the rise of conservatism, it’s no longer cool to be a nigga, they don’t wanna cosplay black people anymore. The mainstream landscape changed to embrace more “femininity” n “softness” rather than the overly tan ‘bad bitch’ aesthetic (think sabrina, olivia dean, etc)

@Paperthinlips oh yeah i dont deny the shift across society has also contributed some, but in her case specifically people have been trying to paint it as wicked/cynthias fault for every change these past 2 eras which is absurd

@angelfoodles tbh if anything wicked was probably specifically chosen beforehand by her team as a way to ease the public into her transition
