FYI You only have to pay $15 to get on the Giza Plateau and you can stay on the Plateau typically from 8am - 5pm. Internal pyramid visits cost extra but not much. Great Pyramid (Khufu): ≈ $30–$32 USD Khafre Pyramid: ≈ $5–$6 USD Menkaure Pyramid: ≈ $4–$5 USD

Book a cheap flight in advance you can get one for under 500. Hotels vary from super expensive to a few dollars per night so you can go cheap, spend a few days out there, go to the plateau each day. It's not unrealistic to go and see the pyramids in your lifetime.

I've seen videos on YouTube, where people seem to go to that scammer ticket place still and not the brand new official building / entrance The Great Gate where I believe people buy official pyramid tickets. Been wondering what makes them to go that scam place? They even ask to stop filming etc. quite aggressive behavior. Whats up with that place? Doubt thats the official place to buy pyramid tickets. I'm planning to visit it next year during solar eclipse. I think that would be one of those Yolo moments.

@TheProjectUnity It's a reasonably priced vacation. However, when I was there last time there were armed security traveling with us (I was part of a group). There was definitely something going on they weren't telling us.
