If he wasn't an expert in judo you really wouldn't be asking for his assistance, but you needed to learn three different types of martial arts per the new requirement of the Hunter's Association. You twisted around his hold, feeling your shoulder socket protest, your head trapped under his ribs. “Are you actually going to dislocate my arm?” You huffed as you shifted, testing, and nearly lost your breath as his force increased and he began ‘walking’, shifting his position to try and hold you down better. “No but if you don't get out of this hold your arm will be fucked.” He didn't even sound out of breath, damn him. You began to wrap your leg around his back thigh sneakily. “You can get out of this hold if you just use your brains. This is just a basic technique.” You tried to contain your building frustration. Valko had warned you that he will use anything to distract you. Some judokas will try to get under your skin and it was a universal reality you needed to learn. “You somehow — huff — got really good at pinning down someone huh?” You could hear him chuckle even as he adjusted his grip, and you could feel your arm twist uncomfortably under your chin. “What can I say? Pinning techniques are my specialty.” He whispered in your ear, tone all velvet which you did not expect for the wolf to have it in him. That should not have made you blush goddammit, but you couldn’t stop the unbidden thought of how that would translate in bed; with his hips pinning yours as he thrusted — You seriously cannot be fantasizing now. Focus! It was then that you saw your opportunity: you managed to grab his belt with your other hand, using his arm wrapped around your head and arm to arch your back, planting your feet on the ground and driving yourself and him forward, forcing him to let go of your arm lest he dislocates his own shoulder. With your arms now free, you wrapped them around his waist and flipped him over with a grunt with all your strength that you still had in you. “Yes!” You rolled away from him, standing up and doing your little victory dance. “I did it!” You didn’t notice the shoulder of your judogi slipping, revealing tantalizing collarbones and your neck. In an instant he was behind you, amber eyes intense, his pupils dilating. “Yeah, great job. Tie your uniform close before you attract more men in here with your scent.” His voice is a growl as he pulled your neckline down and started tying your belt with twice the force necessary, doing the knot twice as well, strong muscled arms wrapped behind you. Your heart pounded, as you looked up to meet his gaze from behind you, His growled whisper is doing things to you and your body as you stepped away from him, the flush creeping up your neck. “T-Thanks, Valko. I um... need to shower.” You bowed hastily to him, signaling the match has ended as he had taught you. You quickly walked away from him, berating yourself all the while. What the hell was that? You are a grown woman! You didn’t see the heated amber haze trailing after your form as he fixed his own judogi, running his hands over his dark red hair in frustration. No one has managed to even appeal to his sense of smell. Not with the power of your scent at least. You smelled sweet to him, like red wine and roses. Which means you and him both are in trouble. If there was anything that first training of judo did, it cleared things for him and there is no doubt as to who you were to him now. How was he going to explain to you that appealing to his sense of smell as a wolf meant that you… are his mate? . . . A/N: Just my take on Valko. 🤭

good morning oomfs!!!! i slept so well last night i had valko running in my mind all night thinking of his companion trailer, his standard myth, his outfits, café interactions etc. i honestly could not be more excited. this is the same feeling i had when caleb was announced and it just feels so good to have my heart feel this full again. this is a massive change and with there still being such limited and scarce source for farming pulls i really REALLY hope infold gets their act together. we can be excited while still holding them to a higher standard than what we‘ve been given in regards to resources. other than that i‘m just so happy with this new community i‘ve found and new friends (ihope i can call you all that 🥹) to share this experience and journey with 🐺❤️
